Advocates for Natural Resources and Development, ANARDE is a Non-Governmental Organization that was established in 2008.
We are a team of lawyers, sociologists, researchers, scientists and environmentalists formed to serve as a think tank for policy dialogues on natural resource management, and promote of good governance of natural resources within the national and international policy frame work.
For over a decade, ANARDE has championed the use of pro-bono legal support and legal representation to communities affected by negative impacts of natural resource exploitation and other governance challenges especially in Karamoja sub region and the Albertine Graben. ANARDE runs three programs that is, the legal aid program, nature conservation and extractive justice programs. Under its Legal Aid program, ANARDE has committed to strengthening and enhancing access to justice to the marginalized communities and those affected by resource exploitation.

Our Objectives
ANARDE was established in 2008 is a duly registered as a company limited by guarantee and incorporated in Uganda.
